The modern story of Medea, a woman driven from her senses by emptiness and betrayal, set 2000 years later. The plot of this polytheistic myth is played out in the Holy Land — a place imbued with the energy of love, intolerance and monotheism. In Euripides’ tragedy, Medea aids Jason out of love for him, then abandons her native Colchis, and flees with him westwards.
